August 29th, 1954-February 23rd, 2026

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Nora Anne (nee Groulx) on February 23, 2026, at the age 71, at the Lady Minto Hospital. She was surrounded by love until the very end. 

Anne is loving remembered by her devoted husband, Larry, and her children, Sharlon (Dennis/Zav) Valerie (Geff), and Rhonda Prevost. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and her beloved best friend, Willow. 

She is survived by her siblings Michael Clarke, Lance (Wendy), Terry (Patricia), and Kelly (Kathy). She was predeceased by her father, Gerald Clarke, her mother and father, Nell and Burt Pollock, who lovingly raised her as their own, her sister, Bridget Bell, and her brothers, Gordon (Fern) and Billy Pollock. 

Anne took great pride in her flowers and yard, tending to them with remarkable care and precision.  Her garden was not merely maintained but meticulously manicured with scissors, each blade of grass exactly where she wanted it. She was also an accomplished cook and baker who found joy in preparing meals for those she loved. Many will fondly remember her generous hospitality and the warmth of her home. 

The family extends sincere gratitude to all who offered love, meals, support, cards, and kindness during this difficult time. Your thoughtfulness and compassion made this loss that much more bearable and will not be forgotten. Special thanks are extended Dr. Ross and the nursing staff for their compassionate care. 

In keeping with Anne’s wishes, no service will be held at this time. A small private family gathering will take place at a later date.
